A Thanksgiving Blessing

Let us not forget;
Of whom this Thanking’s for,
And how we came to be here;
And all those gone before.

When we look upon our tables;
To see the bounties of their gifts,
We should be so truly thankful;
Our Lord and Lady live.

She blesses us with sunshine;
And more abundant love,
Our plates are full of hopes and dreams;
like showers from above.

When we leave those we’ve gathered near;
So pleased and full it shows,
Let us always give true thanks;
For the blessings we’ve been bestowed.

Let us not forget;
Now or Ever more,
It’s our Lord and Lady;
For whom the Feast is for.
